Vetch is a vine-like herbaceous plant that can be annual, biennial, or short-lived perennial. It can be found in pastures and is commonly used in hay for livestock. Blue, violet, or yellowish legume- or pea-like flowers are found in clusters with few flowers. The fruit is a flat pod.
